Yaye!! Watanabe Akino did Robin in Witch Hunter Robin yeah? This is going to be interesting, looking forward to how her Lightning! Posted By: Zagen30 Date: Technically noctis means "of night." But I'm liking it just the same. Actually, I think I like it more than Nox (which is the nominative form). Nokutisu must be the Japanified version of Noctis. I don't know much about the Japanese language, but I think that you can't have two consecutive consonants in a word and need to end a word with a vowel, or something like that. Insert a "u" between the "c" and "t", change the "c" to a "k", throw a "u" at the end, and voila! you've got Nokutisu. I'd rather have Pigtails girl be named Senon than Sarah. Sarah's way too ordinary for a FF character name. Besides, look at Terra from VI: in the Japanese version her name was Tina, but that was too common a name in North America, so it was changed to something much more out-of-the-ordinary here. FF is supposed to be about weird, made-up, or at the very least uncommon names. Posted By: Cloud PUFF Date: Nostril? I'll just call him Nokuto or whatever I want assuming you can do that? In FF7 I named Cloud Spike (pretty clever huh?) Posted By: clarebear Date: so much for "storm" never did like that name Posted By: clarebear Date: whoa-oa! Noctis is a cool name. It means night right? oh yeah bring on TGS! Posted By: lol Date: lol noctis Post a Comment |
