Woah, I'm gone for a week and suddenly all hell breaks loose!


The demo seems pretty impressive, especially the beginning. The combat was a bit too slow to watch, but it'll definitely be more fun to play (and as was said, we can probably speed it up as well).

I also got strong FFX vibes from that section, which is both good and bad. (But mostly good). My only problem was that everything in that section was a bit too linear. I'm sure the graphics will also be slightly better in the final product.

Oh, and for the English VAs I really hope we get British actors rather than American ones. From my experience they tend to sound better.

Yeah I noticed the linearity, but the start of VII, XII or the demo for VIII were all really linear. Maybe their doing it just not to disorient the player, I hope it opens up.

Someone did say in an interview a while back that it was a expanded version of XII's field, which sounds good.
